California Governor Arnold Schwartzeneger calls some Democrat foes “girly men” and now there are cries of homophobia and sexism? Oh, puh-leeze! That’s a flip cocktail party remark, a giggle, a little bon mot. It would have been forgetten as soon as the vodka wore off, had anyone in California had the wit so retort:

“Even we didn’t think that the Governor was so short on substance that now, less than a year into his administration, he had used up all of his own cheesy movie tag lines and had to resort to stealing zingers from a ten-years-ago TV show satire of himself… and it was a New York-based TV show, at that!”

Can't anybody take a joke anymore? Especially people who elected one?
