Two interesting articles in todays NY Times:
The first is about the drawbacks of "multi-tasking." So please don't bug me and ask me to do two things at once (unless it's drinking coffee while petting a cat) -- I won't be able to accomplish it efficiently.
The other is about how we perceive personal space. It also explains (in part) to me, a non-driver, why people get so emotional about the box they ride around in. I guess it also explains why I, with my lo-o-ong arms, perceived the need more space in a dance class. But it doesn't explain idiotic tourists who walk--no, mosey--four abreast on midtown sidewalks during morning rush.
Oh, and as usual, these links expire after a week or so.
