Had another dizzy spell last night; went to the doctor this morning, he muttered something about MS; I was freaking out for about 2 hours this afternoon, but deep down I think/hope it’s perimenopause. Or sleep deprivation! I meant to look up sleep deprivation! Regardless, I have an appointment with a neurologist on Friday. I’m not ready yet to be heroic in the face of a life-changing degenerative illness… but I have always wanted a souped-up mechanical wheelchair: I’ll put biker decals all over it and blast “Born To Be Wild” from a boom box I’ll keep in a rack at my feet and I’ll mow down any two-footer who gets in my way…
